Woody was the one who showed Jordan how things worked and how to work on things. From tractors to equipment to the endless list of farm repairs, he taught Jordan to think through problems, understand machinery, and fix whatever needed fixing. His patience, skill, and steady guidance gave Jordan the confidence to tackle anything — a quality that still shows today in the way Woody continues to check in on the cows, the tractors, and our family here at the farm.
Usually, on any given week, there’s some sort of ongoing conversation about who’s fixing what, who’s hunting for a new project to fix, or who probably needs to quit tinkering and just take their wife to dinner! It’s part of the charm, part of the routine, and part of the legacy that lives on through them both.
Together, Papaw and Woody shaped Jordan into the man he is today: hardworking, capable, mechanically minded, and deeply proud of his family’s heritage — a legacy we’re honored to continue at Clarkmore Farm.
