I started Clarkmore Lending because I wanted a lending experience that felt more like sitting on a porch with a friend than walking into a boardroom.
People deserve honesty, options, and someone in their corner — and becoming a broker gave me the freedom to offer all of that.
Clarkmore Lending is where my love for serving people meets the grit and heart I learned on the farm. It’s where clients get treated like family, not files… and yes, sometimes they get a cow video along the way.
What drives me most in this industry is having the ability to advocate for the people who make it great — our borrowers, our partners, and the professionals who show up every day to do this work with integrity. Advocacy isn’t just something I dabble in; it’s the heart of my purpose.
As the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Association Regional Director for East Tennessee, I’ve had the privilege of standing on the front lines for our industry — fighting for consumer protections, pushing back against harmful practices like trigger leads, and working alongside leaders across the state to create meaningful, lasting change.
Whether I’m speaking up in Washington, collaborating with TNMBA members, or educating and protecting the families I serve every day, my commitment is the same: to make our industry stronger, fairer, more ethical, and more transparent. I’m passionate about improving this profession not just for myself, but for every mortgage professional, every borrower, and every future homeowner who deserves better.
